Mo’ Saucony! Can’t Stop Won’t Stop! Today, I had to break out the Saucony Shadow Original Navy and Grey as the originals are one of the easiest shoes to wear, and so inexpensive that I can easily come up on another pair if these get messed up.
I actually had bought these for more money, sold them for more and then turned around and got them even cheaper!
The navy kicks with hits of grey look great with a blackout type outfit. I threw on a black longsleeve and jeans with a white layering tee. You could also go with some grey jeans and a white tee if you pair it up with a dark hoodie. The darker tones on the shoe feel like they need something dark up top to balance the outfit regardless what pants these are worn with.
How Are The Materials?
These things have way nicer materials than you would think given the price. They aren’t as nice as some of the premium Shadow 6000s I’ve been sporting lately, however, for what you pay, the suede is basically awesome on these. The rest of the shoe is a nylon mesh type of material, also of decent quality.
How Do They Fit?
The Saucony Shadow Original Navy and Grey fit true to size and are super comfortable. There’s something to be said for a shoe just being a basic shoe without there being too many complicated pieces of technology. Just breathable mesh, lightweight suede and a soft midsole for all day comfort.
I’m particularly feeling the navy/grey combo – this is a classic colorway! Very practical purchase for any low key sneaker type of day, and I highly recommend grabbing these!
