Saucony Grid SD No Chill Red Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

I already reviewed the blue pair out of this pack and I’m stoked I was also able to buy these Saucony Grid SD No Chill Red

at a huge discount! I’m glad everyone keeps sleeping on Saucony, as the quality and shape of shoes like this cannot be overstated, yet they go on sale for cheaper than other brands sale prices for way crappier products.

If you look at the sole, it basically looks kind of like that found on the Saucony Shadow 5000. Apparently, the whole “No Chill” theme is a simple nod to hot summer months! Great time for me to bust these out then!

How are the materials?

Dang, the suede on these is NICE. I’m really happy with these – the quality on the materials is just outstanding. You have to see these in person to really understand how money the Saucony Grid SDs out of the No Chill pack are. These do have the little plastic/rubber wings near the ankle that to me look a little cheesy, but the rest of the shoe is just so nice!

How do they fit?

The Saucony Grid SD No Chill Red fit true to size. These fit a little more on the comfortably snug size compared to models like the Saucony Shadow Original and Shadow 6000, but are definitely not tight at all. I would not size up on these, but I wouldn’t size down either. These are super comfortable, and you might see me putting money down for the yellow pair next!
