This particular pair is the same Flash Red color scheme as an OG colorway of the Reebok Question, but in lowtop form.
The original Questions came out in 1996 during Allen Iverson’s rookie year as his first signature shoe. These used Hexalite cushioning (hence the trademark “honeycomb” pattern on parts of the midsole), which was one of Reebok’s newer technologies and had just come out in 1990. This particular pair has a leather upper with a suede toebox and features the Reebok “Q” logo and the number 3 stitched onto the rear of the shoe. These come with white rope laces in a Reebok I3 box.
I personally feel like the Reebok Question Low Flash Red is the colorway to have – it looks perfect with the icy sole and red hits. I’ve known about Iverson for a long time, being a teen in the 90s, but never messed with his shoes. In my 20s, my boy let me rock a pair of his Iversons and I thought I was so tough with ’em on!
The shoe is also very comfortable for a retro with quality materials. I went true to size. My only gripe with the Question Low is the weight – it seems a tad heavy for the size of the shoe. Also, I recommend against ankle socks in these, they chopped up my ankles pretty bad the first time I rocked em. I did regular socks and pants the next time around and the problem disappeared.
