I’ve been on a roll with the dunk pickups lately. These Nike SB Dunk Low Pink Pig are based on the all-pink Porsche 917/20, which raced at Le Mans 1971.
These came in the purple Nike SB box and include pink and red SB laces. The sneaker is otherwise relatively simple and doesn’t come with other extras. A nod to the Porsche this shoe is based on would have been cool but I understand there may be trademark issues and so on.
Once I saw these were coming out, I had to get them! An all suede dunk with premium status is typically a win for the collection and I can easily recommend this pair.
How Are The Materials?
These are marked as a premium release, and the all suede upper is VERY nice. Super soft, backstroke, I can’t ask for anything more on a modern dunk. Overall I think dunk collectors will be very pleased with this pair in terms of material quality.
How Do They Fit?
I went a half size up. The Nike SB Dunk Low Pink Pig fit snug as expected. That said, but given the suede upper and the half size up, these don’t feel quite as snug on feet right off the bat, and I think these will break in very quickly.
The comfort on modern SBs is nothing special. If you’re wearing them casually, I recommend them for short periods or when not particularly active. Look for a more comfortable shoe for walking and standing for long periods of time.
