I’ve been on a roll with the dunk pickups lately. These Nike SB Dunk Low Court Purple are seemingly based on two different “Court Purple” Air Jordan 1s.
They keep the same basic overall colorway of the 1st version of Court Purple 1s, but swap out the purple toebox for the white toebox of the 2nd version.
Once I saw these were coming out, I had to get them! A J-Pack (or SB Dunk paneled/colored like a Jordan 1) is typically a win for the collection and I can easily recommend this pair.
These came in the purple Nike SB box and include sets of black and white SB laces. The sneaker is otherwise relatively simple and doesn’t come with other extras.
How Are The Materials?
Just like the 1s these seem to be based on, the uppers are entirely smooth leather. The quality seems pretty good on this material. It feels smooth to the touch and the finish has some natural looking texturing to it. Nothing here really jumps out as “premium”, but the shoe doesn’t feel cheap either. Overall I think dunk collectors will be somewhat pleased with this pair in terms of material quality. I am spotting some minor issues with glue, rough cuts on the paneling and overall consistency in paneling between the left and right shoe, but this is par for the course for Nike QC, so I can look past it.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike SB Dunk Low Court Purple fit snug as expected. That said, leather on the upper here is fairly soft and so these don’t feel quite as snug on feet right off the bat, and I think will break in very quickly. I went a half size up on this pair.
