The Orange Label Navy/Gum SBs were my last SB dunk, and these Nike SB Dunk High Vegan are another pair that didn’t release in the US!
I had to grab these and I’m glad I did, as these are apparently not making their way stateside. According to the internet, these are made out of a vegan leather, hence the nickname. Additionally, some sites are calling these the “beef n broccoli” based on the colorway.
These came in the purple Nike SB box and include green and brown SB laces. The sneaker is otherwise relatively simple and doesn’t come with a lot of extras.
How Are The Materials?
For a synthetic vegan leather, the texture on these is smooth and the leather has a cool finish to it lookswise. The shoes definitely exude a quality look and feel although it’s tough to judge faux leather against its real life counterpart. That said, I still enjoy the materials here on the look and feel of the finish.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike SB Dunk High Vegan fit snug as expected. I went a half size up, which allows for additional comfort and cuts down on break-in time.
I’ll have to break these in a bit or use the shoe stretcher to give my pinkies a little breathing room. Still, if I’m looking for all-day comfort I’ll probably go with a runner instead. These are mostly to be worn for a few hours max for style and looks rather than being super comfy.
