After the last GR Dunk I picked up, it was time for something a little more special. Enter the Nike SB Dunk High Oski Shark.
The shoes get their nickname from Swedish Skater Oskar “Oski” Rozenberg Hallberg. This is not Rozeberg’s first Nike collab; back in 2017 he worked on a pair of Dunk Elites. This newer collaboration, includes a blazer and this dunk as well as some apparel.
The biggest noticeable feature of the shoe is the shark instead of a swoosh. The insole graphic also contains an image of sharks. Both the insole and tongue tag say “Oski” on them. The shoes ship in the brown “orange label” box and include red-tipped black laces as well as a set of white laces.
As soon as I saw a shark where a swoosh was supposed to be, I knew I’d be getting these. I made it a priority and now that I have them in hand I’m glad I did as they seem to be selling out instantly everywhere!
How Are The Materials?
Since these are an “Orange Label” release, the materials are supposed to exceed typical Nike SB faire. These do succeed with a black tumbled leather upper that has a soft, almost suede-like texture.
The quality reminds me of the deconstructed dunks from last year, which is to say, good for a Nike SB! While you’re not going to get that New Balance level of suede/leather, overall you get a very good quality sneaker from Nike SB here.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike SB Dunk High Oski Shark are comfy at true to size or half size up.
I was expecting them to fit snug and be tough to break in. However, these actually have a decent fit at thanks to the nicer materials on the upper and a less stiff overall construction.
