I picked up the last Jordan 1 low x SB collab and loved it so you know I was all over these Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low Koston UNC.
These kicks continue to pay homage to the time when Nike team skaters were given Air Jordan 1s to skate. The colorway is designed by Eric Koston and based on the UNC / Carolina Air Jordan 1 colorway from back in the day.
These come in a black/teal Nike SB quickstrike box and come with white and light blue laces. They feature Eric Koston’s signature on the inside of the tongue tag and if you flip it up, you see a $24.99 underneath. This represents how low these sneakers would go on sale for in the 80s. The shoes have Nike SB on the tongue tag and insole, Nike on the outsole and the Jordan wings logo on the back of the shoe.
I’m not disappointed in this shoe at all. These are low key for just wearing around while still getting recognized by other collectors; a good combo overall!
How Are The Materials?
We get a decent leather on these. It’s not super plush or tumbled but good enough to give the shoe a clean, quality look. Overall, while not amazing, the materials avoid falling into the “garbage” category. Rather than take a risk, Nike SB definitely played it safe on these.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low Koston UNC fit true to size.
I like the extra room on these so I went a half size up. These do fit me a little loose, but overall it’s not that big of a deal when laced up properly. Although these have zoom air, they also have a bit less of a padded fit than SB Dunks. I find them a tad stiff, but loosen up once broken in.
