The Flyknit Lunar 3 fall into the “lightweight comfort” category per Nike. This is unlike the Lunartempo (fast-paced comfort), Lunarglide (supportive comfort) and the Air Max 2015 (maximum comfort).
These are definitely both lightweight and comfortable with the seamless flyknit and flywire uppers and the lunar sole.
The quality here is pretty decent for what is basically a thin, knit material on the upper. It’s lightweight and breathable, and the construction seems solid.
As far as sizing, I’d avoid sizing down. True to size should net a nice, comfortable fit. The lunar cushioning is great right out of the box, and lasts reasonably long although it will eventually bottom out. Then, it’s time for a new pair!
I was able to cop the Nike Flyknit Lunar 3 Hyper Jade for a great price as this model seems to get slept on next to the Flyknit Racer. Regardless, these are a dope shoe that has all the benefits of the flyknit upper and looks great on foot. I’m really feeling the orange hits popping out and the shade of green used on these!
