If you saw my review on the Brut SB’s, then you already know about the Gentleman’s Pack from 2007. Today I’m sporting these Nike Dunk Low SB Old Spice which are the other GR release from the pack.
I’m only missing the Peacock Mids now – I actually used to have a pair but sold them as I fell out of love with SB Mids. All of the shoes in the pack represent different brands of men’s cologne, with the colors here being a send up to those found on Old Spice aftershave bottles.
In any case, I love these damn SB’s. This is my second pair and unfortunately they came with cut straps, which might explain why the tongue looks a little too popped in my photos and videos. Still, it is really hard to find clean pairs of these so I’m stoked to have them back in the collection after selling off my last beat pair.
How Are The Materials?
Black box SB’s are typically of good quality, and in this case the materials are really nice. These are made out of soft, lush suede and nice smooth leather with the metallic leather swoosh to round out the look. The only downside to a shoe like this is they are very hard to keep clean. Thus, if you’re looking to acquire these, make sure you find as many detailed pictures as possible to make sure you don’t wind up with a dingy pair.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike Dunk Low SB Old Spice fit true to size and are very comfortable. I took a chance on getting these a half size down, so the cut straps actually benefit in this case. If you are capable of keeping these clean, then I highly recommend picking up a pair for your SB collection. While you’re at it, look into the Bruts too – both are really unique colorways and easily recognizable classics for SB heads.
