Even though the midsole on my pair has yellowed/darkened over time, I still gotta say that the Nike Dunk Low SB Loden is one of my favorite shoes.
These released around the same time as Sharks and Flashes during the early orange box era. They get their name from the official colorway.
Black, grey and olive are the colors you want for an outfit featuring these kicks. These are a fairly low key sneaker, but I suggest not wearing something loud to compensate. Instead, I recommend keeping the rest of your outfit blacked out for the most part. I do have one olive layering tee added in my fit to break things up a bit.
Materials
The shoes have a simple, high-quality suede construction with a leather swoosh. The materials and shape on this shoe are definitely on par with other releases of the time and put newer SB releases to shame!
Fit
The Nike Dunk Low SB Loden fit true to size, although I was able to comfortably go down a half size. The materials around the toebox have enough give to provide a comfy fit either way, although if I had my choice I would have gotten my true size.
Back when I was going after older SB’s, these were a must-get for me. They used to go for a few hundred dollars, but now I’d expect to pay around $250 for a pair in decent condition. For SB fiends, I highly recommend copping any dunk SB’s from the time period these released, especially these!
