These read as a premium release on the box label. The Nike Dunk Low SB Central Park has earned that title based off of the details rather than the quality.
The suede in use on the toebox, sidepanel and swoosh are nothing to write home about. The leather has that plastic-like feel to it that’s usually reserved for GRs.
On the other hand, this shoe boasts plenty of details that reflect its inspiration of the Central Park Boathouse in New York. From the map graphic on the insole to the red aglets on the green laces, this shoe definitely represents the theme that it is based off of. The most obvious detail is the stitched-in maple leaf towards the back of the shoe.
This had many confused as to whether this shoe was supposed to be a Canada-themed shoe. These ship with green laces (with red aglets) and black spare laces.
The Nike Dunk Low SB Central Park are super clean! It’s one of the few less-hyped releases that I think I will keep in the collection for a while! The different shades of blue and green with the bit of red for pop looks great. The overall shape of the shoe is pleasing in general!
