This is possibly the first streetwear brand dunk collaboration ever! The Nike Dunk High Plus B Stussy exists in a black and brown colorway; we have the brown version here.
These shoes are so old that the paint has begun peeling off various parts of the shoe. That doesn’t stop these from being awesome kicks! They have the same vibe as early Nike SB’s and feel like a high top answer to the Pro B’s that also surfaced around this time.
While dunk collabs are almost a monthly routine at this point, a Stussy dunk would have been monumental at the time of release. Until these released, sneaker collaborations in general were few and far between.
Brown and tan kicks can either be really tough to match up or really easy. In this case, it’s easy! These look great with dark blue, medium or light wash jeans. You could pull off a flannel upper with a white tee, or go the grey hoodie route like I did. This is the one time my tan elongated layering tee has come in handy!
When it comes to rare dunks and very old collaborations, these definitely have a lot of other pairs beat. I highly recommend grabbing one of the two available colorways if you are not averse to aging dunks and want a really ancient collab for the collection.
How Are The Materials?
The materials are definitely plush on these. There is a high quality leather covering the shoe with ostrich leather on the swoosh. Unfortunately, as mentioned above, the paint does tend to peel on these older dunks. If you get a pair, be aware that the paint can come off fairly easily. I’m not sure of a way to completely prevent this from happening with dunks these old.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Dunk High Plus B Stussy fit slightly large and are really comfortable. Just like many older dunks, the fit is roomy. Even at true size these are really cushy for a low-tech pair of dunk highs.
