APC is a French brand known for its selvage denim. While I don’t rock stiff jeans anymore, I am a fan of these Nike Dunk High APC and am stoked to own them.
These released at the same time as a couple of other colorways. A later Nike x APC collab would include even more dunks – I believe we are at 6 total dunk colorways between the two brands. These feature APC on the back of the tongue tag and a crossed-swords logo on the insole.
All brown kicks can present a problem, however fall is a great time to flex this type of colorway. If you rock a fall palette, you should be ok. I think an easy match up is dark denim and a grey tee. Light wash denim can work as well if paired with a white tee. Doing it that way, you can rock these other times of the year!
On our last visit to Paris, I dragged my wife all over the city looking for the APC store so I could grab a pair of these dunks. I wound up not finding it until we were about to leave, so I went online and ordered them instead. These Nike Dunk High APC turned out to be totally worth it as they are simple yet really dope and easy to rock.
Materials
These are a 2012 release, so the materials aren’t insanely buttery, but they are good. The suede seems thick and of good quality. Overall, materials fiends will probably consider the shoe to be above average for a relatively current Nike release.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Dunk High APC fit true to size, similar to other 2012 dunks. The shoes are fairly comfortable if not a little stiff. Overall these are still preferable to any dunk released in the last year or two in terms of comfort.
