Nike Air Span II Volt Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

After rocking one OG colorway of this model, I had to grab the other available OG with the Nike Air Span II Volt!

Of all the different options, it’s the two original color schemes of this early 90s runner that hold the most attention for me.

When I saw these online, I pictured dark or black pants and a grey top. While that would be a fire fit, swapping in light denim might be the better look! This shoe has enough white on the upper, which, along with the volt hits, help promote the versatility of the shoe.

Gotta love OG colorways of random kicks! After getting the Laser Blue pair, I knew it would only be a matter of time before I got these as well. I highly recommend these to anyone that’s looking for an old-school kick that’s a true throwback from the 90s era of runners.

How Are The Materials?

Just like the Laser Blues, the materials are jusk ok on these. Definitely slightly better than typical NSW quality, with an ok level of suede, leather and mesh. At least the suede is soft, although not lush at all. The leather is passable, but if you are all about the materials, these may be a pass for you.

How Do They Fit?

These Nike Air Span II Volt definitely fit simply and comfortably. True to size as usual for the cautious, half size down for the shape fiends such as myself! The materials luckily allow enough flexibility for them to fit like a glove once broken in!
