I’m obviously a big fan of Air Max. I always thought this model looked cool but never found that perfect combo of price and colorway. The Nike Air Max Plus originally released in 1998 and is also sometimes called the Air Max TN thanks to the “tuned air” used in the shoe.
While I appreciate the shoe, I’m not such a fan that I am clamoring for new releases and hot colorways. But if I catch a good deal, I will definitely take it into consideration!
These basically have a mesh upper surrounded by plastic pieces. That said, there are typically small bits of leather around the shoe as well. Overall, the materials aren’t too impressive but these do have a nice amount of texturing so it at least looks somewhat quality. The mesh appears to be two layers but otherwise nothing special. Overall the materials are ok but nothing to write home about on these.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Air Max Plus work at true to size for a nice comfortable fit. These have a surprising amount of give for a shoe with a plastic piece on the front of the toebox. The shoe itself provides a good amount of support for a more solid ride.
