Moving on from the GR 95s I’ve been picking up such as the USA colorway, it’s time to get to some quickstrikes! I’ll admit these Nike Air Max 95 Greedy 2.0 are an impulse cop, but I’m glad I grabbed a pair!
The first “Greedy” 95 released in as a kind of a “what the” concept, mixing multiple AM95 colorways onto one shoe. This version goes for a lighter palette and shouts out the Photo Blue and Neon colorways in particular.
These come with a simple orange Nike Sportswear box and a white rope lace with red tips and black rope lace with blue tips, furthering the mismatched elements on the shoe. The right shoe has the Neon 95 look to it while the left is the Photo Blue color scheme. Pretty much everything is mismatched from left to right – kind of the point of the shoe.
Less hype on these made them fairly easy to attain. I was able to get them right off Nike’s website. Out of the Greedy and the Greedy 2.0, I feel like this is the more wearable colorway, and I’m glad to add them to the collection.
How Are The Materials?
The material quality is basic on these. I’m definitely not getting a premium feel, but at least the materials are mixed up a bit. The outside gradients feature suede and nubuck while the rest of the uppers are leather and mesh. Overall I wasn’t too impressed with the materials but I expected them to be somewhat “regular”, since the point of the shoe is the mix of colorways and the left-right mismatch, rather than premium quality.
How Do They Fit?
True to size works well for these Nike Air Max 95 Greedy 2.0. I get the same size that I wear in other Nikes such as Air Max 90s and Jordan 1s. At that size, these are very comfortable. If you’ve worn any recent Air Max within the last couple of years, then you already know what to expect from these in terms of comfort.
