I finally found some colorways of this shoe that I like! The Nike Air Max 270 are one of the flagship Air Max sneakers from 2018
The sneaker works really well with a gym look. While jeans might look ok with this sneaker, this is another shoe that could benefit from a more tech look such as joggers or track/zipper cuff pants. The sporty look doesn’t necessarily translate that well to every streetwear type outfit.
The only thing that kept me from getting a pair of 270s is finding colorways I like. And here they are! Definitely feeling these more now that I have had a couple of pairs though, and I’m glad Air Max are still innovating and creating dope new silhouettes every year!
How Are The Materials?
The materials on these are good for what they are. The upper is mostly mesh of varying thickness and opaqueness. Overall the shoes are put together well and free of apparent QC issues (i.e. glue stains, stitching errors, etc). These can’t really be judged in the same way as a retro or heritage runner, but given the type of shoe this is, they seem to be of good quality.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Air Max 270 fit true to size and are very comfortable. You can really feel the air bubble compress when you stomp down on it. You get a typical solid Air Max cushioning (different feeling than squishy boost or bouncy react).
