Materials
Nike mixed it up with the materials on this pair. The mudguard and u-throat feature a cracked leather texture, while the toebox is smooth leather for a sleek contrast. The Swoosh and ankle collar also come in leather, but the tongue, side and back panels switch things up with a soft suede/nubuck finish. It’s not the most mind-blowing quality ever, but when you take it all in together, the shoe definitely feels premium.
Fit & Comfort
True to size is the move with these. There’s not a ton of cushion coming from the Air bubble, but the overall comfort is solid—pretty much what you’d expect from a classic Air Max 1. Whether you’re rocking these on the daily or keeping them on ice for special fits, they deliver.
