After completing the AM1 Anniversary series, there was one AM1 that I missed out on and had to go back and get. The Nike Air Max 1 Dynamic Berry are now finally in the collection.
The shoe gets its name from the colorway and features a multicolor Nike logo on the tongue tag.
One of the reasons I got these was I could totally picture myself wearing them with some light wash denim. Now that I have them in hand, I can see that they also look great with dark wash denim, black pants, joggers, etc. Pair it up with a white or black top and you have an easy, sporty fit that’s still bright.
I was excited to add these to the collection, and while I still like the colorway, the materials are kind of a downer. Still, they look so good on feet with the reshape, I can’t see myself selling them soon.
How Are The Materials?
These kind of fail in the materials department. The suede used on the upper is not buttery at all and is actually rather rough to the touch. Not in a shaggy way, either. Overall the main downfall of this sneaker is the materials. I’m not sure why they’re labeled as a premium. Maybe it’s the super thick nylon used on the tongue?
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Air Max 1 Dynamic Berry fit true to your Nike size. They have the typical narrow Nike sportswear fit; they’re still very comfortable for me but your mileage may vary. The shape on these is not the best right out of the box, so of course I gave them a reshape to get them sloped perfectly.
