It’s been a while since I picked up some Air Max 1s. These Nike Air Max 1 Daisy are bringing me back into the AM1 game!
These get their nickname from the daisy graphics added to the sneaker.
These shoes didn’t come with any extras inside the standard orange Nike box and they ship with a set of skinny flat neon green laces. They feature printed on daisy graphics on the tongue tag, insole, near the pinky toe and towards the rear of the sneaker.
I wasn’t going to cop these at first. I thought that the denim/canvas would be stiff and uncomfortable but I was swayed by an on-foot pic. Now that I have them in hand, I’m glad I got them as the denim is not nearly as stiff as it looked in pics online. The colorway looks great on feet, especially with the provided neon laces adding extra pop.
How Are The Materials?
These sneakers are comprised of denim, corduroy and satin. All of the materials seem good for a sneaker not marked as a quickstrike or premium release. The denim is soft and pliable and the corduroy is thick. A weak point is the daisy print being printed rather than sewn in. The way it is now gives the impression that it will wear/peel over time.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike Air Max 1 Daisy are comfy at my true Nike size. This is the same size I get in Jordan 1s, other Air Maxes, etc. I would go down a half size on Air Max 1s to get the smaller looking shape, but given the materials used here, this is risky. The shape on these out of the box is ok, considering the denim material on the toebox.
