Being a musician, I can appreciate artistry, especially modern and street art. Ron English (of POPaganda fame) lends a hand in the design of these New Balance 247 Villa The Collective, the first new collab between NB and Sneaker Villa.
The shoe celebrates artists collaborating to create shared artistic and cultural expression.
I think light wash denim is key here. I could see some black jeans too but overall these have such a spring/summer vibe that light clothing is key. If you must wear these during colder weather, I’d recommend a navy hoodie to keep the wind off your otherwise light-toned outfit.
Overall I’m a fan of New Balance’s newer models when they still have that classic vibe to them. These definitely fit the bill, and the fact that they are a high-quality collab puts these above and beyond a standard pair. I highly recommend grabbing a pair of these while they’re still going at discount!
How Are The Materials?
The materials on these are great! Most of the shoe is made from a very soft pig suede. The quality is excellent for a pair of 247s. The shoe is finished off with some reflective rope laces and 3M heel area. If you are wanting some 247s but not sure if the materials will be good, these are a safe bet!
How Do They Fit?
These New Balance 247 Villa The Collective fit a tad big and are extremely comfortable. This is a newer-tech shoe from NB so they are designed with comfort in mind. The shoes provide ample cushion in a light weight form, even with the premium materials. I’d say you are safe at true to size.
