Sneaker Collection
So, what’s the deal with the sneaker collection (Sienfeld Voice)? Right around 2008, I’d just lost a lot of weight and was in need of an entirely new wardrobe. I was in the process of buying newer, smaller clothes and the time came for a new pair of shoes. Rather than pick some ordinary pair like I normally would, I opted for a more interesting and unique looking pair. The response from others was so strong and positive that I decided to look more into the different kinds of cool sneakers and discovered that collecting sneakers is similar to collecting comics, baseball cards, or any other of the numerous hobbies I had when I was a kid! I’ve been into sneakers ever since – to the extent that I even got an article written about me in the paper! I’ve also been collector of the month in Solecollector Magazine (issue #47)!
As for the photography aspect, check out any Sneaker related websites (there are many), and you will typically find posts filled with awesome, artsy footwear shots. I like learning about cameras and taking interesting shots, and it turns out there are actually sites online where you can get recognized for both your collection and photography skills at the same time! You can check out some of my most recent shots below. If you’re curious, I currently shoot with a Nikon D3100 (Amazon link) and mostly use a 50mm lens.
My eBay account is where I list my current sneakers available for sale (if I happen to be selling any).
Here are some quick links to different categories of sneakers:

I found the Element 87 to be a tad flimsy but comfy and good looking, and a big question is how these Nike React Element 55 Volt compare. ...

Who knows when my CDP 3s will crumble? To protect against this, I picked up these 2018 Air Jordan 3 Black Cement. Aside from some slight textural differences they’re basically they’re the same shoe, but with Nike Air on the back instead of a Jumpman. ...

These will probably be my last Ultraboost for a while after all the pairs I’ve grabbed recently. I’ve been more a fan of the plain colorways for this model, so this Adidas Ultraboost 4.0 Grey will round out the collection with a nice neutral tone. ...

I’m obviously a big fan of Air Max. I always thought this model looked cool but never found that perfect combo of price and colorway. The Nike Air Max Plus originally released in 1998 and is also sometimes called the Air Max TN thanks to the “tuned air” used in the shoe. ...
