Sneaker Collection
So, what’s the deal with the sneaker collection (Sienfeld Voice)? Right around 2008, I’d just lost a lot of weight and was in need of an entirely new wardrobe. I was in the process of buying newer, smaller clothes and the time came for a new pair of shoes. Rather than pick some ordinary pair like I normally would, I opted for a more interesting and unique looking pair. The response from others was so strong and positive that I decided to look more into the different kinds of cool sneakers and discovered that collecting sneakers is similar to collecting comics, baseball cards, or any other of the numerous hobbies I had when I was a kid! I’ve been into sneakers ever since – to the extent that I even got an article written about me in the paper! I’ve also been collector of the month in Solecollector Magazine (issue #47)!
As for the photography aspect, check out any Sneaker related websites (there are many), and you will typically find posts filled with awesome, artsy footwear shots. I like learning about cameras and taking interesting shots, and it turns out there are actually sites online where you can get recognized for both your collection and photography skills at the same time! You can check out some of my most recent shots below. If you’re curious, I currently shoot with a Nikon D3100 (Amazon link) and mostly use a 50mm lens.
My eBay account is where I list my current sneakers available for sale (if I happen to be selling any).
Here are some quick links to different categories of sneakers:

This release from early 2019 clearly was outshined by the rerelease of the Infrared 6. Since I already had the 2014 release of those, these Air Jordan 6 Flint aka Flight Nostalgia seemed like a nice new pickup to add to the collection. ...

I thought I would never buy another new Nike SB, but here we are. The Nike Dunk Low SB Takashi 2018 is a retro of the original Takashi dunks from the silver box era. ...

These seem very related to the Turbo Green, namely because these Air Jordan 1 Hyper Crimson also have the “SP 19 Air Jordan 1 High OG” writing on the side panel. ...
