Nike SB Teal Box
The Teal Box era of Nike SB represents a crazy renaissance in popularity that has only ramped up since. If you expect the easy outlet come ups and pairs of SB’s sitting from the Tape Box era, you would be on the receiving end of a rude awakening! Sure, things seemed similar enough at first, but the ramp up began in earnest during this time.
There were so many releases during this era! More than any other era to date. It also lasted way longer than any other box era – 6 years! So we start the era with the outlet hits just like the Tape Box times, but things progressed to where you had to start being on top of picking up releases to have any luck at getting a pair. It probably doesn’t help that the aftermarket sites like StockX started to ramp up towards the end of this time period.
Infrareds, Rayguns and Oskis are just some of the notable releases during the Teal Box times.
Nike SB came in the teal boxes from 12/2013 – 12/2019
