New Balance 999 Reviews
The New Balance 999 is one of the more interesting New Balance models. It is used in a lot of well known collabs. Some pairs get the Made In USA treatment, but not always.
The shape on these is not my favorite out of NB’s kicks – it’s more of a chunky wedge than a pointy-toed runner. The current resurrection of dad shoes being a thing in pop culture makes this less weird. I’m not surprised models like the 999 have seen a bit of a resurgence.
I feel like the streetwear world most honors the Concepts collabs that arose with this model.
