New Balance 574 Reviews
The New Balance 574 is probably THE entry-level New Balance. While not terribly exciting for new collectors, there have been limited editions that keep the line bussing. Some of those pairs have the Made In USA treatment, and others do not. The shoe originally released in the late 80s around the same time frame as the Air Max 1.
I think the easy availability of 574s might be a turn off for some collectors who just want limited sneakers. One could walk into a sneaker store in any mall and probably see some pairs on the shelf. That said, there’s a reason these have become a standard model for New Balance. They look good on feet and are comfortable. They also for the most part don’t try to do too much as far as colorways or features. So for those that just want a basic casual shoe from the brand, the 574 fits the bill.
