Air Jordan 1 Reviews
I’ve owned several pairs of Jordan 1s! As a result, I have a lot of original Air Jordan 1 reviews on this very website. I’ve been buying pairs almost as long as I’ve been collecting sneakers! Some of my first grails were retros of certain key OG colorways.
Below is a general review of the Air Jordan 1 as well as all of the different reviews I’ve written on different releases of the sneaker!
History
The Air Jordan 1 first released in 1985. It was designed by Peter Moore and for all intents and purposes was Michael Jordan’s first signature basketball sneaker.
Sizing
Generally speaking, Air Jordan 1s fit true to size and have a narrow fit. Cut, different material combinations and even when the sneakers released all affect how easy the sneaker is to break in.
That said, I have comments on the sizing in every review. Additionally, since I don’t buy a lot of Jordans these days I’ve taken to writing informational articles about Jordan 1s, including sizing comparison articles.
Materials
Air Jordan 1s have been made out of a variety of materials throughout the years ranging from basic to premium.
While many mids and lows are made as general releases and thus made with more general-level materials, some highs and lows are given more attention.
Not all highs are made with premium materials in mind, but the odds on the quality being good do tend to go up with the “OG High” and similar releases.
It’s always a roll of the dice whether Nike decides to use good or merely passable materials on a release.
