Anthony Levine and I’ve been a longtime sneaker collector since 2008.
It’s always tricky to write a bio without revealing too much information. After all, there’s some unscrupulous people around the internet! I will try my best here.
I’m born and raised in California and have a Bachelor’s in Business Management from a University of California college. I put that degree to not all that much use in my current occupation of Digital Marketer with a focus on search marketing. I mostly deal with Google Ads in my day to day job.
Hobbies besides sneaker collecting include making music, video games and comics. I also occasionally collect Transformers action figures, vinyl records, CDs and anything else I’m into at the time.

But you’re not here for all that, so enough with the boring stuff. I was always into collecting comics and cards as a kid, so I understand the idea of being a collector. In my late 20s, I lost a lot of weight and needed some new clothes and kicks. I got so many compliments on the pair I got that I started researching collectible kicks and found that a local skate shop was selling Nike SB Dunks. I picked up a pair of Newcastles and the rest is history.
I’ve been into sneakers since 2008, and built this website starting in 2015. At first I was reviewing all kinds of things, but my primary interest has been in kicks, so I started to focus my energy on that for this site. I write sneaker reviews here, as well as informational articles on sneakers. I still update some element of this site at least once every week or two.
I developed a Youtube channel dedicated to sneakers, and got quite a following before Youtube terminated it and banned me from starting another one. I used to have the videos embedded in every review on this site! To this day, I think I was unfairly removed from the YouTube platform. Regardless, many in the sneaker game who know who I am know me from that channel.
I currently get my media creation fix on my podcast Actual Fan of Sneakers, as well as on my Instagram (@verse001) and Tiktok (@tonydiamonds). So check out any of those places if you want to see or hear me talk about kicks.
