The Air Force 1 High Nai Ke first released as a red-on-white colorway, and this reverse of that is the more widespread release. The shoes celebrate the Air Force 1s impact on Chinese footwear styles in the 80s and tries to emulate the shape and quality of the original AF1s.
The shoes come with white and red straps and a special hangtag and feature a special graphic on the insole and Chinese lettering on the upper rear of the shoe. Read on for details or find out where to get these now!
Rather than do a blatant matchup, I’m going with a light-colored Polo hoodie and some skinny jeans with a navy beanie from Supreme. The trick here is to pick non-red items. Anything else more than a splash of red is going to make this fit look too matchy immediately.
I know a lot of people slept on these. I can also tell that I copped from someone that bought these at an outlet because the box top was missing. This is surprising because I don’t remember these hitting retail in the US. Therefore, I think these should become one of those pickups people will feel like they missed out on later down the line.
Materials
The materials on these are really nice! The entire shoe is leather except for the suede swoosh and nylon tongue. Nike seems to have gone out of their way to use good thick leather. The suede is ok, definitely not silver box SB suede or anything, but still really nice. Overall I was not disappointed in the materials used on these.
Fit
The Air Force 1 High Nai Ke fits roomy. The shoe is naturally big and bulky, so I’d only avoid these if I really wanted to sport a more slim-fitting, lightweight shoe. Other than that, these are super comfy!
