So, more Inikis. Yea I know, I have like 3 colorways already, but these Adidas I-5923 Iniki Black Boost seemed like a must thanks to the all black midsole.
The mostly black upper lends these to almost any fit – thus these have instantly become beaters for me. I plan on throwing them on to do everything from make a quick run to the store in some sweats to a night at the club with some jeans.
In any case, these will work with nearly any articles of casual clothing you own! Buy a shoe like this and eliminate the stress of coordinating an outfit!
How Are The Materials?
The materials on these are ok. They’re not as impressive as the first couple of Inikis I picked up, but they are better than the Navy pair I recently reviewed. The track suit material is fairly consistent from pair to pair but the suede is the big differentiator and on this pair, it is decent but not super buttery like the white and green pairs I picked up a couple weeks ago.
How Do They Fit?
The Adidas I-5923 Iniki Black Boost fit the typical big fit of this model amd are super comfortable. Good old loose/sloppy Iniki feel on top of that cloudlike boost means a half size down seems like an ideal way to go for these.
I think this might be one of my favorite types of kicks these days. I find myself reaching for I-5923s a lot, so this pair makes sense as a beater. The black midsole will show its age slower than the other pairs I own, which will keep them fresh longer!
