Nike Dunk Low SB x Atlas 35MM Camera Review

By Anthony Levine, longtime sneaker collector.

This Nike Dunk Low SB x Atlas collaboration came in two flavors; this particular version is the wider release, while in-store versions sold at the San Mateo skateshop have additional details and packaging, not to mention a different colorway.

The entire theme of the shoe is based off of old 35mm camera bodies. Details include a print on the outsole and insole featuring images from Bay Area photographers Mark Whiteley and Joe Brook.

These I think have the more interesting of the two colorways in the collab, with the alternates being a bit more monotone.

This version features nubuck and pebbled leather uppers and ships with black and grey laces. The quality used is decent, I’d say it’s better than the average SB Dunk release, but nothing mind blowing. I especially like the nubuck elements.

With respect to comfort, these are fairly average for a relatively modern Nike SB. If you find SB Dunks to be snug, you wouldn’t be the only one. In this case, going up a half size from your normal true size can be helpful.
