This shoe is basically a palette swap of a shoe I reviewed a little while ago, but these Adidas Quesence Maroon
are possibly the better colorway. This is a new color scheme on an old model (whereas the Grey/Pink pair is an OG colorway).
Here’s another burgundy shoe, which goes great with dark or medium blue wash denim and a black or white top. The blue on the shoe should likely remain an accent color – feel free to include a little blue or maroon in your outfit or skip it altogether.
This model is another one that’s probably flying under the radar thanks to the Iniki Boost and similar models. For the non-hypebeast that just enjoys retro kicks, I can’t recommend these perfectly shaped, awesome looking Quesence.
How Are The Materials?
The materials are decent on these. The suede and leather are pretty good for a “vintage” pair of Adidas although nothing buttery or mind blowing. Most materials fiends won’t have a problem with these. I’m also not seeing any QC issues on my pair; the shoes seem well constructed overall.
How Do They Fit?
These Adidas Quesence Maroon are fairly comfortable and perfectly snug at a half size down. True size might be the best look for those that are sensitive to a nice snug fit. For fanatics of that wedge runner shape, the half size down can help bring out the already very prominent pointy toe.
