I haven’t bought any Adidas in a long time, but I’ve broken the streak with these Adidas EQT Support RF Core Black. These are part of a “milled leather” pack that includes 3 other Adidas models.
Black and white shoes! So easy to wear. Literally anything will work with these. If you are outfit-challenged, a shoe like this will do wonders. Pair it with some dark denim and a dark top or light wash jeans and a white tee. You can also add some color into your fit without worrying about weird matching issues with the shoes.
This may be just a basic colorway on a relatively basic shoe, but the shape, comfort and materials surpass expectations on all fronts. Very happy with these and I highly recommend them if you want to get a pair of EQTs but don’t know where to start.
How Are The Materials?
The materials are essentially milled leather and mesh. The milled leather has a nubuck type of quality to it. It’s very good! I’m extremely surprised at the level of quality of what is basically a GR pair of EQTs. These shoes really deliver on materials and if you buy these, you will not be disappointed when you open the box!
How Is The Fit?
The Adidas EQT Support RF overall fits true to size and is very comfortable. I am going with a half size down and it’s still comfortable in a snug way. I find the fit to be fairly cushy for a shoe that looks stripped down from the outside. One of the big elements in picking this model was the shape! With the primeknit versions of these you do get a pointy shape, but these achieve that without a full mesh toebox. This shoe absolutely wins on shape alone if you are into that pointy retro aesthetic.
