BAIT is known for dope collabs and in this case they hooked up with my new favorite Italian brand! The BAIT Diadora N9000 Spiaggia Rosa is based off of the red sands of Sardinia, Italy.
I’ve been to the boot-shaped country a couple of times but never to any of the islands, so these kicks remind me of places I still need to see. These come in a dope BAIT-branded box with beach graphics on it. The shoes feature BAIT branding on the tongue tag and insole and a speckled clear outsole which adds to the beach theme. Every bit of text on the shoe is printed in gold and these come packaged with 3 lace choices.
There are a couple ways you can take pinkish beige kicks. One way is to throw on some black and go for a black/pink combo which can work well. For these particular shoes I went the other direction with a light neutral waffle knit hoodie from PRL layered over an elongated white tee and some light blue skinny jeans. The shoe is almost all neutral tones anyway so the outfit makes sense.
How Are The Materials?
These have insane materials. This is the shoe that has me looking back at the other BAIT collabs now, as the quality is extremely nice. The grey parts are a soft buttery suede that has a bit of the lush factor. The pink areas are a soft nubuck and the brown parts, ankle liner and insole are a high quality leather. The shoe also features some 3M piping around the Diadora logo on the side. I like the Janoski-like leather laces which add a bit of additional class.
How Do They Fit?
The BAIT Diadora N9000 Spiaggia Rosa fit slightly big and are very comfortable. I wound up going down a half size and find these to be perfect on my feet! The front of the toebox is a little rounder than I’d like, but I don’t want to risk creasing or otherwise messing these up so I didn’t do any reshaping. Regardless, I’m really happy with these and if you have the coin and decide to purchase, it will be well worth it!
