I remember a random pic I took of these getting over 3K likes on IG, I’ve never been able to do it since! I’m not surprised though, as the Air Jordan Future Iron Green is a great looking pair of shoes!
I went super HAM on Futures last year and reviewed a bunch of pairs. Eventually, I sold all my mesh pairs, keeping only the pairs with woven uppers. After getting a request on YouTube on my review of the Baroque Brown mids to cover another pair of mids, I knew it was time to pull these out! These basically get their name from the colorway as Nike was using Iron Green on a lot of models at the time.
How Are The Materials?
These are extremely high quality woven kicks. Unlike the mesh pairs, these don’t play weird tricks on your eyes. The uppers are all one piece and put together well. While there’s no suede or leather to speak of, the textile used as the woven material is of good quality and the shoe itself seems to be well constructed overall.
How Do They Fit?
The Air Jordan Future Iron Green fit true to size and are very comfortable. While more retro pairs of Nikes are typically stiff and need break-in, these have a nice breathable and flexible upper. I found the support solid and the shoe seems good for all day wear. I’m always stoked when Nike releases a new model that doesn’t feel like a clunky brick on foot. You definitely won’t be disappointed in comfort, materials or style with any pair of woven AJ Future mids!
