The last Saucony I grabbed were the Grid Azura 2000s. Enter these Saucony Shadow 6000 OG in white and purple!
I’m totally relying on internet hearsay that these are an OG colorway as I haven’t found any actual photos of any OGs out there.
It’s really odd; Saucony has given these just a regular Saucony box and some plain flat white laces. I would have thought they would add some nod to these being an OG colorway, or at least mention it on their website.
I’m about a year late picking these up but I’m glad I thought to grab them before they are no longer available. I missed some good sales and picked them up for retail, however I think they are still worth it at that price.
How Are The Materials?
For a $90 shoe, these give a good bang for the buck! The shoe is mostly suede and mesh, and the white suede has the felt texture but has a nappier look. The grey and purple suedes are very soft and very nice! I was very surprised by the quality I got on this sneaker. Hats off to Saucony for packing some nice suede in an inexpensive package.
How Do They Fit?
I went with my typical Saucony size on these Saucony Shadow 6000 OG and these were way too tight! That caught me off guard. I wound up exchanging them for a half size up and they fit very comfortably at that size. The shape on these is also nice, it’s the typical bulky-yet-pointy-at-the-same-time 6k look.
