I’m a big fan of the AM1. Especially classic suede and mesh combos like these Nike Air Max 1 Mica Green/Volt.
I almost didn’t grab these, but discovered a great discount online and pulled the trigger ASAP.
As far as pants, I’d go with either black or light wash denim. I suppose khaki colored denim might work, but you’re going the hard road that way. Just grab some light/medium denim and a grey, black or white top and you’re good to go!
I can always use another AM1! This model today for me is what SB dunks were a few years back, I’m picking up a lot of the GR colorways as they’re all fire! Also, I think this makeup of suede and mesh is my favorite type of GR Air Max 1.
How Are The Materials?
These are on the same level as other AM1s I’ve reviewed that released this year. The suede is a step up from the traditional “felt” suede. These aren’t premium or anything to write home about material-wise, however the suede and mesh set up is not bad by any means. It definitely does the trick for this particular pair as a general release.
How Do They Fit?
The Nike Air Max 1 Mica Green/Volt fit true to size. They might fit a little snug at first until they break in but wind up being fairly comfortable, in a retro runner sort of way.
