It’s been a minute since I rocked some AM90s, but the Nike Air Max 90 Premium Olive is a pair I couldn’t wait to get my hands on.
There’s not a ton to say about these shoes thematically other than that they released alongside a pack that also contains a burgundy pair and a white pair. All 3 colorways are monotone in the same way.
Olives, tans, khakis and greys all work great with these. With a grey top, some light wash jeans or even black denim could work as well to give these a bit of variety.
What can I say? I think people will regret sleeping on these random AM90s while all the focus is still on the AM1. I believe the 90 will see a resurgence in 2020 with the 30th anniversary releases that are bound to happen. Just remember, the Air Max 90 is so much more than just the Infrared colorway.
How Are The Materials?
The materials on these are not bad at all. The shoe is earmarked as a premium, but the shoe is not mind-blowing in terms of quality. These do away with mesh on the toebox and instead use suede. The suede definitely is thick, and somewhat soft, but still isn’t what I would call buttery. The leather is ok and has some texture to it, but also is a tad shiny which takes away from these somewhat. Overall, if you’re into materials, you will be ok with these, even if not entirely impressed.
How Do They Fit?
These Nike Air Max 90 Premium Olive fit true to size for a slightly snug fit. They fit comfortably either way in my opinion. I find the shape to be not bad on these. It’s not a banana toe but still a tad blocky.
